The roadmap.

Let other apps connect to Haplo AI’s downloaded models. Create a sandboxed API so other iOS developers can leverage Haplo AI’s downloaded LLMs in their own apps—without needing to bundle models themselves.

Allow AI to interact with your system (like calendar, reminders, etc). Enable Haplo AI to perform actions like adding events to your calendar, sending emails, or managing reminders—fully on-device.

Create and edit images using local AI models. Introduce on-device tools for generating and modifying images using supported LLMs with vision or image capabilities.

Users want models to download in the background so they can exit the app while a download is in progress. This functionality is very similar to how AppleTV works when you are downloading movies for offline use.

Let users use their own LLM files stored locally on their device. Haplo AI will support pointing to external GGUF model files already stored on your device, giving advanced users more flexibility.

When a user pastes a large amount of text. The app starts loading for a while. This needs to be fixed so that there is no "beach balling" event after pasting the text.

Users want the ability to upload documents and images in a chat so they can discuss with the ChatBot and ask it questions. Will be released in Version 1.3

Use the total download size to better show how much download time is left.

Some times messages are cut off and never finished. In this scenario, I want to continue generating in that message.

Add option for user to edit their message when the long press a message that they sent. This would go back to this point in the chat and basically reset the chat to this point.

Speed up chat startup by caching recently used models. Reduce wait times when starting a new chat by keeping recently loaded models in memory, making future loads nearly instant.

Currently, Barrier only allows users to have a single schedule. We need to add the ability to add multiple schedules. This means users can add certain apps to one schedule and certain apps to another schedule. Additionally they should be able to lock and unlock at multiple times each day (instead of just one unlock and one lock time each day)
